BMS Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for a genuine BMS Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience of Building Management Systems. This isn't a role for someone who's simply worked alongside BMS systems. We're looking for an engineer who understands BMS controls, enjoys fault finding and maintenance, and takes pride in delivering a high level of service to clients. The Role As a BMS Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting Building Management Systems across a variety of commercial sites, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably. Your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS systems * Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive repairs * Maintaining and supporting Trend and/or Tridium Building Management Systems * Maintaining system backups, software and licences * Producing detailed service reports with recommendations for remedial works * Surveying sites for maintenance contracts and small works * Updating asset registers and system documentation * Identifying opportunities to improve system performance and energy efficiency * Participating in the on-call rota About You We're looking for someone with genuine hands-on BMS engineering experience. To be successful, you'll have: * Previous experience working as a BMS Engineer, BMS Service Engineer or BMS Maintenance Engineer * Strong knowledge of Trend and/or Tridium Building Management Systems * Experience fault finding, servicing and maintaining BMS controls * A good understanding of HVAC control systems and field devices * Excellent communication and customer-facing skills * Good organisational skills and attention to detail * A full UK Driving Licence Experience with technologies such as Niagara, BACnet, Modbus, HVAC controls or energy optimisation would be advantageous but isn't essential.
