About the role
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join one of London's most highly regarded and nationally recognised Court of Protection teams.
This is a chance to become part of a ranked and reputable practice that is widely respected for the quality and complexity of its work. The team acts on behalf of vulnerable individuals, families, deputies and trustees, advising on a broad range of Court of Protection matters and delivering exceptional client service.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload while working alongside leading specialists in the field. Matters will include deputyship applications, statutory wills, gifting applications, contested Court of Protection proceedings, capacity issues, and ongoing deputyship administration for high-value and complex estates.
The Role
- Advising clients on a full spectrum of Court of Protection matters.
- Managing deputyship and personal welfare applications.
- Assisting with complex and high-value deputyship cases.
- Handling statutory wills, gifting applications and contested proceedings.
- Working closely with clients, families, professional deputies and other stakeholders.
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of a highly respected team.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in Court of Protection work.
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent client care skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload with appropriate supervision.
- A genuine interest in supporting vulnerable clients and their families.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
