Job Title: Mobile HGV Technician Location: Marlborough Salary: £50,000 Basic + Overtime + Company Van & Fuel Card Schedule: Monday to Friday – Day Shifts Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile HGV Technician to join our growing team in the Marlborough area. This is a field-based role where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) at customer sites, ensuring minimal downtime and high standards of safety and reliability. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of HGVs Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and rectify mechanical and electrical issues Perform inspections in line with DVSA standards Attend breakdowns and provide roadside assistance when required Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and efficiently Ensure all work is carried out to health and safety regulations Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good condition Requirements Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Mechanic, or Fitter Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential) Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Good communication and customer service skills What We Offer Competitive basic salary of £50,000 per annum Overtime available paid at enhanced rates Fully equipped company van Fuel card provided Monday to Friday day shifts – no weekend work Ongoing training and development opportunities Stable, long-term employment with a reputable company How to Apply If you are a skilled HGV Technician looking for a mobile role with excellent earning potential and work-life balance, we would love to hear from you.
