Permanent role ~ Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm ~23 days holiday plus standard bank holidays ~ Membership of the Company’s pension scheme – 5% contribution ~ Group life assurance We are seeking to recruit an Electrical Engineer for our client based in Northamptonshire. Our client has a long-distinguished history in the construction of landmark structures around the world, particularly iconic bridges and buildings. The organisations principal focus now is the design, manufacture and operation of specialist equipment and temporary works for the construction of bridges, buildings, offshore structures, refineries, power stations and industrial plants. They have particular expertise in the erection of long span suspension and cable stayed bridges and in the engineering for specialist modular construction including heavy lifting and skidding operations. Electrical and control systems for heavy lifting equipment Detailed electrical and control system specifications, including hardware and software selection Electrical circuit diagrams and schematics Install, commission, test, and operate equipment in both workshop and field settings With relevant electrical design and safety standards, European directives, and legislation Project Execution: Provide technical support to customers remotely and onsite Documentation and Training: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment in the workshop Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Designing and building electrical systems Strong understanding of electrical principles, codes, and standards Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) Professional Qualities: Strong project management and organisational skills Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Travel Requirements: Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally at short notice Driver’s license Ability to programme PLCs Construction site experience CSCS card
