Friday 8.30am 16:00pm

Next Generation have been appointed to lead the recruitment for a Health and Safety Facilities Manager to work with an engineering business who supply parts into multiple industries. As the Health and Safety Facilities Manager you will be responsible for promoting a positive H&S culture across the clients manufacturing facility whilst implementing, and monitoring business policies and risk assessments to ensure alignment with UK and EU legislation.

Duties of the Health and Safety Facilities Manager:
Providing advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation, ISO standards and company processes & procedures
Supporting implementation of HSE Policies to drive improvements and gain / maintain certification
Promoting a proactive approach to HSE management including regular floor walks & contact with supervisors & managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed.
Investigation of site issues, accidents, incidents including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysis
Facilitating the delivery of corrective and preventive actions for significant issues in conjunction with the relevant teams / managers
Internal Auditing / Supplier auditing with reporting and follow up of findings

The successful candidate for the Health & Safety Facilities Manager position will have the following experience:
3 5 years experience as a Health & Safety Manager (Essential)
NEBOSH & or COSHH certified (Essential)
3 5 years experience working within a manufacturing/production environment (Essential)
Absolute understanding of ISO14001 & 45001 (Essential)
