Surfacing Squad & Foreperson - Tayside / Fife / East Central

Breedon Surfacing Solutions provide a wide range of asphalt surfacing contracting services across the UK, delivering a comprehensive asphalt surfacing solution for the construction and maintenance of public highways; infrastructure; residential and industrial developments and minor works. Our client base ranges from domestic and commercial clients to large contractors, local authorities and government bodies.

We have a requirement for a squad that will operate in the East Central Belt / Fife & Tayside area. The squad will comprise of the following roles:

1 Foreperson
1 Screwman

1 Paver Operator

2 Roller Operators

1 Banksman

1 3CX Operator

1 Labourer

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out work in accordance with instructions given by the Foreperson
* Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained, safe to use and operated in the manner for which it was designed
* Maintain all PPE to a high standard to ensure it is in a good serviceable condition
* Support less experienced operatives
* Maintain professional working practices
* Ensure compliance with company rules, procedures and safety commitments
* Report all accidents, incidents, near miss events, issues and concerns
* Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements of the specification

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

* Previous Surfacing Experience desirable, however full training will be provided
* CSCS card desirable
* Driving licence is essential for all roles
