We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design and development of electrical distribution networks across various voltage levels. This position demands creativity, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail to deliver innovative and compliant electrical network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical distribution network designs across varying voltage levels, adhering to client specifications, IDNO/DNO requirements and regulatory legislation.
• Ensure all designs comply with company policies, documents, and relevant regulatory guidelines
• Create schematic diagrams based on engineering concepts and preliminary sketches.
• Address technical challenges and collaborate with clients to develop effective solutions.
• Coordinate and oversee ICP Services projects, subcontractors, and related activities.

Key Skills/Experience

• Proven experience in a similar Electrical Design role
• Extensive experience in obtaining design approval of contestable works within the ICP/DNO/IDNO industry
• Proficiency in IT Systems such as CAD software for electrical design and layout.
• Strong understanding of IDNO/DNO specifications and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with health and safety considerations in design processes.

Location: Remote

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
