Night Shift Engineer

The Night Shift Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising production machinery within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is based in Slough and requires a hands-on professional with technical expertise in engineering and manufacturing. Description Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure all machinery operates at optimal performance levels. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime. Collaborate with the production team to implement effective engineering solutions. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes. Participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurring technical issues. Provide technical support during equipment installations and upgrades.Sunday - Thursday 21:00 - 06:00 Profile You will be an experience maintenance engineer, ideally from a manufacturing background, along with: Recognised Engineering qualification in Mechanical, electrical Engineering Strong technical skills in both mechanical and electrical maintenance. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of production machinery. A commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols.
