Payroll Administrator (0787)

Part Time: 17.5 hours per week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

The Role

The main purpose of the role is to ensure all payroll and pension information is reviewed, checked and processed accurately and in a timely manner, to meet required deadlines. Responding to queries and requests from employees, managers and third parties is also a key requirement to the role.

Role Responsibilities

• Collate, review and check all payroll information received on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy before processing.
• Challenge and question any discrepancies identified and work with the resource teams and managers on an agreed resolution for any amendments prior to processing pay.
• Escalate any complex queries to senior managers and ensure a quick turnaround to meet the weekly deadlines in place.
• Process information electronically and manually from a variety of systems and sources in line with agreed deadlines.

Who We're Looking For

• Good knowledge and understanding of all payroll-related legislation.
• Experience of working in a busy payroll department with complex terms and conditions of
• Experience of administering pension schemes.
• Educated to GCSE level including Maths and English.
