About the role
A growing technology company in the Greater Cambridge area is seeking enthusiastic and capable Technical Solutions Engineers to join its expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and support the deployment of innovative products to customers across the UK and internationally.
The RoleTechnical Solutions Engineers play a key role throughout the full deployment lifecycle, working closely with customers to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, advising on deployment strategies and use cases, delivering product training, and providing post-deployment technical support.
Working within a small and collaborative team, you will be given a high degree of autonomy and responsibility from an early stage. The role offers exposure to a broad range of projects and technologies, often working across multiple deployments concurrently.
Key RequirementsSuccessful candidates should:
- Hold a strong academic background (2:1 or above) in a STEM subject such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging with external stakeholders and customers
- Be capable of working independently and managing priorities effectively
- Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies and technical skills quickly
- Be willing to travel to customer sites within the UK and internationally where required
The following would be advantageous, though are not essential:
- Experience with consumer electronics or technical hardware
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
An enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies will be valued as highly as prior experience. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those early in their careers.
