Our care home, nestled in the picturesque town of Dartmouth in Devon, provides exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 79 residents, offering a serene and supportive environment where quality care meets coastal charm. Maintenance Manager Contract ~£15.08 per hour ~Contracted to 40 hours per week ~Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided ~5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role OverviewAs Maintenance Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the upkeep, safety and presentation of the home, ensuring all building systems, equipment and environments are maintained to a high standard. You will oversee all maintenance activities across the building and grounds, including planned maintenance, reactive repairs and improvement projects. You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with health and safety and regulatory requirements.Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will manage maintenance priorities, coordinate contractors where required and ensure a well organised, safe and fully functional environment at all times.Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role ~Experience managing maintenance operations or projects ~Good knowledge of general building, electrical and repair work ~Ability to manage workload, priorities and external contractors ~About usThe Fleet Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family owned, market leading care provider with a strong and growing presence across the United Kingdom.
