Product Owner 📍 Cambridgeshire + International Travel | 🌐 Telecoms & Wireless Technology | 💻 Embedded Software An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced  Product Owner to join an innovative technology business developing next-generation wireless networking solutions. Following successful deployment of its latest 5G wireless products into international markets, the business is entering a major new phase of product enhancement and feature development.  This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of 5G, embedded software, and wireless networking technology, helping shape products used by global telecoms and enterprise customers. As Product Owner, you will lead a cross-functional embedded software Scrum team, working within an Agile SAFe framework to deliver: New product features Performance enhancements Embedded software improvements Bug fixes and release activitiesYou will act as the bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring technical delivery aligns with customer requirements, commercial priorities, and long-term product strategy. The role combines technical leadership, product ownership, and Agile delivery management in a fast-moving engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Define and communicate product vision and priorities Build and maintain the product roadmap Own and prioritise the product backlog Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements Coordinate sprint planning and Agile delivery activities Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on delivery priorities Oversee release planning, documentation, and deployment readiness Lead a mixed-discipline onshore/offshore Scrum team Drive Agile best practices within a SAFe framework Monitor delivery progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies Support continuous improvement across processes and delivery Provide technical oversight for embedded software development Mentor and support engineers across the teamWhat We’re Looking For: Strong understanding of 5G embedded software architecture and 5G protocol stack Strong experience with embedded C/C++ development on Linux platforms Previous experience in a Product Ownership, Technical Lead, or hybrid technical/product role Experience working within Agile / Scrum / SAFe delivery environments Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments What’s on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Bonus opportunity Private healthcare Pension and life assurance Income protection Cycle to work scheme Generous holiday allowance Opportunity to work on highly innovative 5G technology with global impact
