About the role
Property Damage Solicitor (Legal Director), 5 Years PQE, Birmingham / Hybrid working, £85,000 (DOE) - An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Damage Solicitor to join a well-established and growing team. This role offers the chance to handle a broad range of complex insurance-related disputes while taking on greater responsibility and contributing to the development of the wider practice. JOB REF: 4276
Role
- Take ownership of a varied caseload of property damage matters, managing files through all stages of the claims process.
- Deliver a high standard of client service while ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support team objectives and contribute to the successful management of caseloads across the department.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with insurer clients, brokers, experts and other key stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to junior lawyers and assist with their ongoing development and supervision.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall effectiveness of the team.
Skills Required
- Applications are welcomed from qualified solicitors with a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience in property damage litigation who are looking to take the next step in their career.
- Strong experience handling third-party property damage claims, subrogated recoveries, product liability disputes and policy coverage matters.
- A solid technical understanding of commercial insurance law and litigation practice.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
- The confidence to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service and case management.
