This is a great opportunity to join our wonderful team covering Amersham and The Avenue in Middlesbrough. Youll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation!

What youll do

• Customer group - working with customers with LD and Autism.

• Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.

• Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account

• To support the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, youll turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales. This will involve picking up a broom or paint brush!

• Youll carry out and record the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities making sure were compliant.

• Youll also manage the admin updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works to be done

You have

• A background in property management, but thats not a deal breaker! Perhaps youve worked in an environment with compliance and health and safety checks?

• A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.

• The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.

• Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners

• Passion for property and get a thrill out of knowing that your properties are the best they can be for our customers!

The practical bits

• Flexible working hours (or were open to agreeing a work pattern with you)

• Based across two of our amazing services in Middlesbrough, youll spend your time travelling between these properties

• Able to use technology for making benefit claims, updating records and doing tenancy signs ups,

• To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

• Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
