Food Service Assistant – Basildon (Temporary)

We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our client's busy catering team in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Serving food and beverages to customers * Assisting with food preparation and presentation * Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene * Operating tills and handling payments where required * Restocking food and beverage areas * Following all food safety and health & safety procedures * Supporting the wider catering team with daily duties Requirements: * Previous catering, hospitality or food service experience is desirable * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team * Food hygiene knowledge is advantageous but not essential * Assignment Details: * Start Date: 24 July 2026 * End Date: 25 September 2026
