The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Director of Building Surveying to lead and grow a Building Surveying division in the Midlands. This is a senior leadership role offering the chance to shape strategy, drive business development, and deliver high-profile projects across a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Building Surveying team, providing strategic direction and mentorship Drive business growth through client relationship management and new business development Oversee delivery of a wide range of professional and project services including: Dilapidations Technical due diligence Contract administration Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Ensure high standards of service delivery and technical excellence Contribute to overall company strategy and leadership decisions Manage key client accounts and maintain strong stakeholder relationships Support recruitment, training, and development of team members About You MRICS qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience Proven track record in a senior or leadership role within Building Surveying Strong commercial awareness and business development capability Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills Experience delivering projects across commercial, industrial, or mixed-use sectors Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to grow a team and service line What’s on Offer Competitive salary: £90,000 – £110,000 DOE Opportunity to play a key role in shaping a growing consultancy Clear progression pathway at Director level Supportive and collaborative working environment 2 days working from home 15% bonus annually paid  If you are a strategic leader looking to make a significant impact within a growing consultancy, we would love to hear from you
