We are currently working with a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked firm with a strong national reputation, which is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Dispute Resolution Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing team in Milton Keynes or Oxford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading disputes practice handling high-quality, complex commercial litigation work across a broad range of sectors, within a collaborative and ambitious environment.The firm's Commercial Dispute Resolution team is nationally recognised and highly ranked in both Chambers and Legal 500, with a strong track record in delivering strategic, commercially focused advice on high-value and often complex disputes.
The wider team spans multiple UK offices and offers exceptional exposure to varied and high-profile matters.Your responsibilities will include:Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, working both independently and as part of a wider teamHandling disputes across areas including commercial contracts, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence, and contentious insolvencyAssisting with and leading matters involving international arbitration and cross-border disputes where requiredAdvising clients across sectors including financial services, insurance, energy, healthcare, public sector, and technologyDrafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal submissions, as well as handling court proceedings and ADR processesBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused adviceSupporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the disputes teamWorking closely with senior lawyers on complex, high-value litigation mattersThe successful candidate:A qualified Solicitor with approximately 2-4 years' PQE in commercial litigation or dispute resolutionStrong technical knowledge of commercial dispute work, including contractual disputes and professional negligenceExperience of managing files with a high level of autonomy, while working collaboratively within a teamExcellent drafting, analytical, and communication skillsA proactive, organised, and detail-focused approach to workStrong commercial awareness and the ability to understand client objectives and risksEnthusiasm for business development and building long-term client relationshipsA strong academic background and a commitment to high professional standardsIn return, the firm offers a competitive salary in the region of £65,000-£78,000, excellent benefits, high-quality training, and clear opportunities for career progression within a leading national disputes practice.
