HGV Class 1 Drivers – SK15 The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics business based in the SK15 area. We are looking for x5 HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the team with immediate starts available from Monday. Location: SK15 1ST Job Type: 4 Month Contract / Ongoing Opportunities Available / Temp to Perm Potential Pay Rates: • £16 per hour (PAYE) • £17.93 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay) Shift Patterns & Start Times: • Monday to Friday • Weekend work available for drivers wanting additional shifts • Start times between 04:00 – 07:00 • Average 10–11 hour shifts • Day shifts available • Night shifts available • Tramping available The Role: • Multi-drop deliveries and collections • Palletforce work • Customer collections • General haulage duties • Drivers must be flexible to complete Class 2 work when required • May involve driving 4 wheel vehicles where required • Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles • Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently • Working as part of a busy and fast-paced transport operation Requirements: • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence • Drivers must be flexible to drive Class 2 vehicles when required • New passes are welcome to apply • New pass drivers will be buddied up for their first week • Maximum 6 points for minor offences only • Valid CPC and Digi Card • Good understanding of driver hours and regulations • Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work What’s on Offer: • Immediate starts available • Long-term work with potential to continue beyond the initial contract • Potential temp to perm opportunities • Flexible shift options including days, nights and tramping • Supportive transport team and onboarding process for new passes • Consistent Monday to Friday work with optional weekend overtime To apply, please submit your CV or contact our team for more information
