Workshop / Garage-Based Mechanic Resolve Recruitment Services are searching for a skilled Workshop Mechanic to join a busy and professional garage environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanic seeking a stable, workshop-based role with consistent hours and a supportive team. Key Responsibilities * Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within a workshop environment * Diagnose mechanical and technical faults * Specialise in cam belts, clutches, and general vehicle repairs * Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship Requirements * NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (required) * Minimum 6 years' experience (desirable) * Strong diagnostic skills * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Salary & Benefits * £50,240 per annum (based on a 46-hour working week) * Overtime paid at time and a half * Salary reviewed every 12 months * Monthly pay (around the 1st of each month) * Discounts on MOTs and vehicle parts Working Hours * Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm * Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm * Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm * 46 hours per week * 30-minute unpaid lunch break Additional Information * 20 days' holiday plus 8 bank holidays (April–March) * Company pension scheme (NEST) * Quarterly performance reviews and annual appraisal * Notice period: 1 week during probation, 1 month thereafter If you're an experienced mechanic looking for a secure workshop-based position with excellent pay and long-term career prospects, we'd love to hear from you. 📞 Contact Resolve Recruitment Services today to apply
