We are currently working with a highly regarded, full-service Legal 500 firm with a strong presence across the South West, which is looking to appoint an experienced Family Associate Solicitor to join its expanding Family team based in either Bath or Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and ambitious department that is recognised in both Chambers and Legal 500 for its high-quality privately funded family work and client-focused approach.The firm is known for its collaborative culture, sector expertise across Agriculture, Banking & Finance, Development of Land, Private Client, and Business Growth, and its commitment to providing a supportive and flexible working environment, including hybrid working.Your responsibilities will include:Managing a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters, including financial remedy work arising from divorce, private children matters, and disputes involving unmarried couplesProviding clear, practical, and high-quality legal advice to clients, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in line with client expectationsHandling files with appropriate supervision where required, while maintaining a high level of autonomy and responsibilityDeveloping strong and trusted relationships with clients and referrers through excellent client careSupporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the Family teamWorking collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm and contributing to a positive team cultureEngaging in networking and relationship-building opportunities across the region and beyondThe successful candidate:A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in family lawStrong experience in privately funded family matters, including financial remedies and private children workExcellent communication, organisational, and client care skillsCommercially aware with the ability to develop and maintain client relationshipsConfident working both independently and as part of a collaborative teamProactive and enthusiastic about business development and growing your own profile within the marketStrong academic background with a Law degree or equivalent qualificationIn return, the firm offers a competitive salary in the region of £55,000-£70,000, alongside excellent benefits including private medical insurance, life insurance, and a health cash plan.
