About the role
A family run online retailer is looking to employ an organised, proactive individual to join our Customer Services team. Working alongside our existing Customer Services Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive an outstanding experience from enquiry through to delivery and after-sales support. Happy for either Part Time: Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm or Full Time monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

ROLE:
This is a varied role combining customer service, sales support and day-to-day operational administration. You will become one of the main points of contact for our customers, taking ownership of enquiries from start to finish while helping to keep orders moving smoothly behind the scenes.
Initially you will focus on customer service and operational tasks, with full training provided. As you develop, you will gain responsibility across a wider range of areas including sales enquiries, purchasing and stock management, with the aim of becoming capable of handling the vast majority of day-to-day customer enquiries independently.
-Deliver excellent customer service by telephone and email
-Resolve delivery issues, returns, refunds and missing parcel enquiries
-Handle straight forward sales enquiries and prepare payment links and pro-forma invoices
-Process website orders and help ensure they progress smoothly from order to delivery
-Monitor supplier orders, tracking information and delivery performance
-Dispatch selected products from our office and arrange export shipments where required
-Assist with stock management, supplier ordering and maintaining accurate stock information
-Send product samples and help follow up sales opportunities
-Work closely with colleagues to continually improve our systems and customer experience
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-Friendly, professional and confident communicating by telephone and email
-Exceptionally organised, with excellent attention to detail
-Comfortable working in an office environment as part of a small team
-Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
-Calm under pressure and enjoys solving problems
-Comfortable using computer systems and keen to learn new software
-Proactive, reliable and happy taking ownership of their work
-Looking to develop within a growing business
