Marketing Manager
Middlesbrough | Hybrid (Home + On‑Site)
A leading North East business based in Middlesbrough is seeking a commercially minded, experienced B2B Marketing Manager to help connect with customers, prospects and stakeholders across a range of audience groups.
You’ll be a strategic thinker who can align marketing activity with business priorities and demonstrate measurable impact. Campaigns will be rooted in audience insight, shaped by performance data, and creatively executed in line with brand values. You’ll also be naturally collaborative, curious, and open to new marketing approaches as AI continues to evolve what’s possible.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Communications and Engagement team, leading the organisation’s marketing activity. Reporting to the Head of Communications and Culture, you’ll work closely with commercial teams across the business to support their priorities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and deliver marketing campaigns aligned to business priorities and audience insight
* Evaluate and demonstrate campaign impact
* Lead SEO/GEO strategy for the website
* Shape and support brand strategy
* Manage and attend events, including travel (mainland Europe likely)
* Manage relationships with key external stakeholders
* Produce compelling content and assets for internal and external channels
* Collaborate with commercial teams to create timely, relevant and engaging content for key customer segments
Skills and Experience Required
* Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing (B2B preferred) or Communications‑related qualification (CIPR, CIM, NCTJ)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with events/visit management
* Strong eye for design and passion for great brands
* Adaptability to evolving marketing techniques
* Willingness to work across communication disciplines
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
* Self‑starter with ability to make an impact quickly
