Position Available: Senior Social Work Practitioner - Fostering Team, Gateshead (UK)

What you will do:
Undertake the recruitment, assessment, and supervision of foster carers, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Conduct regular visits and support foster families with problem-solving and additional resources as needed.
Manage a caseload with precision, continually evaluating the performance and needs of foster placements.
Lead and participate in task groups and team meetings to develop the fostering service.
Handle duty work, responding to immediate queries and referrals with a calm and professional approach.
Work closely with other professionals to deliver comprehensive support to children and foster carers.
Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to the best practices and regulations in social work.
