Security Maintenance Engineer

Role: Security Maintenance Engineer Salary: £40,000 DOE + Door to Door + Van (personal use permitted @ 40p per mile) Location: London & Surrounding Areas Shift: 40 hours per week (08:00–16:00) Overtime: Offered at 1.5x / 2x (minimum 8 hours OT paid for scheduled out-of-hours work) On Call: 1 in 9 rota (£25 per day standby + overtime rates + D2D) Are you an experienced Security Maintenance Engineer looking to join a growing team working across enterprise-level security systems? My client is expanding and looking to add a skilled engineer to cover London and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business working across commercial, corporate and high-security environments, delivering high-quality maintenance and service support across integrated systems. As a Security Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding security systems on site Working across Access Control, Intruder Alarms and CCTV systems Responding to reactive callouts and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Diagnosing system faults and delivering effective repairs Completing service documentation accurately via digital systems Ensuring all work is completed to industry and client standards The successful Security Maintenance Engineer will have the following experience: Proven experience with enterprise-level security systems Strong knowledge of Access Control, Intruder Alarms and CCTV Fire alarm experience advantageous (basic understanding acceptable) Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently across multiple sites Good customer-facing and communication skills The Security Maintenance Engineer will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes: £40,000 DOE Door-to-door pay Company van (personal use permitted @ 40p per mile) 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Birthday off On-call rota (1 / 9 days) with standby and OT enhancements Enhanced overtime rates (1.5x / 2x) Long-term career development within a growing business If you don’t meet every requirement but have relevant electrical or security systems experience, we’d still love to hear from you.
