Electrical Project Manager

Client: My client has established themselves as one of the UK’s premier M&E contractors. Following their formation almost 75 years ago, they have grown their turnover to over £200m per annum. The business boasts an envious track record of delivering some of the UK’s and London’s landmark projects. Typically they specialise in major shell and core projects in sectors such as; commercial offices, healthcare, pharmaceutical and education. Despite their size, this Tier 1 M&E Contractor has fantastic staff retention rates with a reputation for looking after their staff. They offer excellent exposure and internal training schemes with a hands-on approach to developing their staff.  Role: Electrical Supervisor LV/AP – London – Salary £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Full Travel Expenses + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus The successful candidate will be working on a refurbishment of a commercial office block in London. Role/Responsibilities: ·      Management of subcontractor labour ·      Attend site meetings ·      Progress reports ·      Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFI’s, etc. ·      Health and safety ·      Review and amend RAMS ·      Red pen design reviews ·      Snagging ·      Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project The ideal candidate: ·      A minimum 3 years’ experience in a management role ·      Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Multiplex, Mace and Kier. ·      The candidate will show longevity in previous employment ·      Must be technically astute and a good people manager ·      Has their LV/AP ticket In return they offer: ·      A healthy pipeline of work with jobs secured for the next 3 years ·      The opportunity to move up the management ladder ·      Opportunity to work on flagship projects within London
