What you will do: Lead and coordinate the Families First approach, providing expert advice and promoting best practice.
Assess the needs of children and families, developing effective and outcome-focused support plans.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated services.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case records and documentation.
Advocate for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are effectively represented.
Undertake risk assessments and review cases to promote positive and sustainable outcomes.
Chair and participate in family meetings, case conferences, and multi-agency planning meetings where appropriate.
Qualifications/Requirements: Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
Significant post-qualification experience within children's social care, ideally in a Families First or safeguarding environment.
Strong assessment, care planning, and risk management skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and partnership-working abilities.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and safeguarding procedures.
