Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a fantastic all-through SEN school to recruit a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher for an immediate start.
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to become a permanent member of staff following a successful placement period.

The school is a specialist all-through setting supporting pupils from primary through to secondary age with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The school prides itself on providing a nurturing, inclusive and highly supportive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Staff work collaboratively to deliver personalised learning programmes tailored to individual needs, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally. The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners within the school. You will work closely with support staff, parents and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of education and support.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning needs
Working in line with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and wider school staff
Building positive relationships with pupils, families and external agencies
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Previous experience teaching within an SEN or SEND setting
Strong understanding of EHCPs and differentiated learning
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
A patient, resilient and flexible approach
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
