Encap Assistant Manager

Encapsulation Assistant Manager Bridlington £40,000 + 5% Annual Bonus Day Shift, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support wider Encapsulation operations including 4 on 4 off day shifts and night shift coverage where needed. A leading manufacturing business in Bridlington is looking for an Encapsulation Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of a fast-paced production department. This is a hands-on leadership role within a regulated manufacturing environment, overseeing Supervisors and Operators to ensure production targets, quality standards and compliance requirements are consistently achieved across all Encapsulation shifts. The role will involve: Supporting the Production Manager with the daily running of the Encapsulation department Leading, coaching and developing production teams across multiple shifts Ensuring production plans are achieved safely, efficiently and right first time Driving standards across GMP, hygiene, food safety and compliance Supporting audits, process improvements, shutdowns and changeovers Working closely with Planning, Engineering, Technical and NPD teams Managing staffing levels, training and performance within the department Identifying operational issues and driving continuous improvement activitiesThe successful candidate will have: Previous leadership experience within manufacturing Experience working within FMCG, food, supplements, pharmaceutical or regulated production environments Strong people management and communication skills Knowledge of health & safety, quality and food safety standards Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving and team developmentThis is a great opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business with strong investment, modern facilities and genuine opportunities for progression.
