Principal Design Engineer

Principal Design Engineer £65–75K + benefits and Relocation & Visa available Southampton (Hybrid) Fast‑growing clean‑tech maritime business developing wind‑assisted propulsion systems is seeking a hands‑on Principal Design Engineer to lead structural/mechanical design of major subsystems. You’ll own 3D/parametric modelling, structural analysis, and class‑compliant design, taking concepts through to production‑ready hardware with real‑world feedback.
