Field Services Engineer

JOB – Field Service Engineer

LOCATION – Hampshire + UK wide travel when required

TERM – Permanent

SALARY - £30,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on experience)

My client designs and manufactures Special Purpose Machinery for a global client base. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experienced in a manufacturing environment working with machinery
• A background in servicing/commissioning would be beneficial
• Programming experience would also be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills with experience in a customer-facing role
• Able to work well under pressure

The Field Service Engineer role will involve:

• Travelling to customer sites for commissioning, servicing and repair
• Working to given processes and procedures
• Occasionally training customers on new products and machinery
• Providing technical support
