Fabrication Support Operative Location: Sunderland Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour Overtime: Time and a Half Job Type: Full-Time / Ongoing We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabrication Support Operative to join a busy and growing workshop team. This role will involve supporting fabrication and welding activities within a fast-paced fabrication environment. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting fabricators and welders with daily workshop activities * Operating fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently * Preparing materials and components for fabrication * Grinding, notching, cutting, measuring and general workshop duties * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment * Supporting production targets and quality standards Requirements: * Previous experience within a fabrication or welding workshop * Experience using fabrication tools and machines * Ability to read and follow basic engineering drawings is advantageous * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Good attention to detail and health & safety awareness What’s on Offer: * Competitive hourly rate of £14.00 - £15.00 per hour * Overtime available paid at time and a half * Stable, ongoing work * Opportunity to join an established engineering business If you have workshop fabrication experience and are looking for your next opportunity, apply today
