Rate: £28-32ph
Working Hours: 37 hours p/w
Flexibility: x2 days in office, 3 WorkFromHome
Our Local Authority client based in The West Midlands are urgently looking to take on a homelessness officer to join their housing options service.
Your day to day duties will include:
• Interviewing and advising homeless people in relation to all available housing opportunities
• Providing advice regarding their rights and responsibilities
• Give appropriate assistance to such customers in accordance with the Council's statutory duties under the Housing Act 1996 Section 190 and Section 192
• Refer homeless people to suitable available housing options speedily and efficiently
• Providing long term solutions and up keeping customer relations
* Essential Skills Previous Housing Options
* Experience Knowledge of the Housing Act
* Customer Focused
* Experience working with the Locata System
