Science Teacher - Chelmsford - Full Time
Long term with option to go permanently
Pay Scales: M1 - M6 + UP1 - UP3
We are working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Chelmsford who are looking to appoint a passionate Science Teacher to join them from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department with strong leadership, well-behaved students, and a real commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role:
Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential KS5 if suitable)
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Plan and assess learning to support strong student progress
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Work closely with a collaborative and supportive Science department
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
A genuine passion for inspiring young people in Science
Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
