Days: Monday to Thursday 07:00–16:00 | Friday 07:00–13:00 Are you an experienced production leader looking for a long-term opportunity with genuine progression? We are recruiting for a hands-on Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in driving production performance, team standards, and operational efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with strong leadership skills and a mechanical mindset who enjoys working within a fast-paced production environment. The role offers a clear temp-to-perm pathway, with future progression opportunities to take full ownership of the late shift operation. About the Role You will be responsible for supporting daily production activities, leading a production team, and ensuring targets, quality standards, and health & safety expectations are consistently achieved. This role requires somebody who can lead by example, remain calm under pressure, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving and team management. Key Responsibilities * Lead and motivate a production team to achieve daily production targets * Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently * Support production operations, including machine start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting * Monitor workflow and production schedules to meet deadlines * Handle team-related matters professionally, including performance management where required * Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards across the production area * Work closely with management to improve efficiency and productivity * Support a positive and accountable team culture * Open and close the site when required What We’re Looking For * Previous Team Leader, Supervisor, or management experience within manufacturing or production * Strong mechanical understanding and experience working with production machinery * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Calm and professional approach under pressure * Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance * Hands-on attitude with the ability to support the wider team when needed * Good organisational and problem-solving abilities * Knowledge of biomass systems or similar production processes would be advantageous This role would suit somebody looking for long-term progression within a growing manufacturing environment where they can make a real impact on shift performance and team development
