Heavy Plant Workshop Engineer - Vacuum Excavation Equipment Newton-le-Willows Monday-Friday | 7:30am-5:00pm 45-hour week £40,000+ DOE We are looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Workshop Engineer to join a busy workshop team working on vacuum excavation equipment. Requirements Proven experience working on heavy plant machinery Strong diagnostic and repair skills Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Ability to carry out servicing, maintenance, and fault finding independently NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification advantageous Full UK driving licence preferred Role Workshop-based maintenance and repair of vacuum excavation machinery Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently Routine servicing and inspections Ensuring equipment is maintained to high safety standardsIdeal backgrounds include: Excavators Construction plant Recycling equipment HGV/plant mixed fleet Specialist utility or suction excavation equipmentCompetitive salary available for the right candidate.
