Job: Machinist Location: Swadlincote Shift: Days Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, plus overtime Profile Experienced Machinist with a background in precision engineering and manufacturing. Comfortable using a range of workshop machinery and measuring equipment in a busy engineering environment. Key Skills * Machining and engineering workshop experience * Operating CNC and manual machinery * Inspection and quality checking * Use of measuring equipment * Reading technical drawings * Fault finding and problem solving * General machine maintenance Experience Machinist * Operating workshop machinery safely and efficiently * Carrying out inspections using measuring equipment * Working to technical drawings and quality requirements * Completing repair and rework on mechanical parts * Supporting general workshop activities * Maintaining machinery and keeping work areas organised Additional Information * Engineering or manufacturing background preferred * Experience working with workshop machinery * Good attention to detail * Practical hands-on approach * Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
