Professional Indemnity Solicitor (1-8 years)

A well-established firm in Edinburgh is seeking a Solicitor (1-8 years) to join its Professional Indemnity team. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and associates, acting for leading insurers and professional clients across a broad range of sectors.

The Role

You will be involved in a varied and intellectually engaging caseload, including:

• Defending professional negligence claims
• Acting on claims against:

  • Solicitors and Lawyers
  • Surveyors
  • Architects
  • Engineers and construction professionals

Providing coverage advice and assisting with policy interpretationWorking on high-value and technically complex litigationDrafting pleadings and other key court documentsManaging cases day-to-day and advising insurer clients

About You

• 
  
• Qualified Solicitor (1-8 years')
• Experience in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation xwzovoh
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confident legal drafting ability
• Comfortable managing multiple matters with appropriate supervision
• Keen to build trusted relationships with colleagues and clients
