As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for supporting the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of outpatient pharmacy services. Working closely with the Lead Pharmacist and wider multidisciplinary teams, you will clinically screen prescriptions, provide expert medicines advice, support dispensing activities, and ensure patients receive the highest standard of pharmaceutical care. You will also contribute to service development initiatives, clinical governance activities, and the ongoing training and support of pharmacy colleagues. Support the safe dispensing and supply of medicines, including high-risk medications. Act as the Responsible Pharmacist when required, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards. Deliver and support clinical services, accuracy checking activities, and patient-facing pharmacy services. Monitor prescription volumes and support effective workload management across the pharmacy. Contribute to continuous quality improvement projects and service development initiatives. Participate in clinical governance activities, audits, and risk management processes. Support the training, development, and supervision of pharmacy team members. Ensure ongoing compliance with GPhC standards and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. To be successful in this role, you will possess a genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering safe, effective pharmacy services.
