We are supporting a leading specialist utilities contractor to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager. This hands-on role offers the chance to make a real impact on safety culture and operational excellence across multiple projects. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include: Lead and develop the health, safety, environment, and quality (HSE) strategies across the business. Oversee compliance with UK safety legislation, ISO standards, and environmental requirements. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations to proactively manage safety risks. Promote continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring safety protocols are effectively adopted. Develop and deliver HSE training to support ongoing employee engagement and competence. The successful Health and Safety Manager will have: Proven experience managing HSE within construction, utilities, or water sectors. NEBOSH certificate or equivalent Strong knowledge of UK legislation, ISO standards, and audit processes. Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence teams.
