Field Service Engineer (CNC Machines) Salary: £55,000 + bonus - potentially more for the right candiadte Location: Working Away (UK, Europe & Beyond) – Monday to Friday Hours: 40 per week The Opportunity We are recruiting a Multi‑Skilled Installation Engineer with Siemens experience to join a specialist engineering team working on high‑value industrial machinery across Europe and occasionally further afield. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys travel, hands‑on technical work, and delivering high‑quality installations for major industrial clients. You’ll be away Monday to Friday, returning home for weekends, with night‑out bonuses and overtime opportunities available. What You’ll Be Doing * Full machinery installations – including mechanical and electrical build, alignment, and commissioning * Occasional repairs and reactive work when required * Working on a variety of industrial machinery and automated systems * Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards * Representing the company professionally while working on client sites across Europe What We’re Looking For * Siemens experience is essential (PLC, drives, controls, or automation) * Strong mechanical and electrical skillset * Experience with installation, commissioning, or machine build * Ability to work away Monday–Friday on a regular basis * A proactive, hands‑on engineer who can work independently and as part of a team Package & Benefits * £55,000+ base salary * Night‑out bonus (paid for each night spent away) * Overtime available * 40‑hour working week * All travel and accommodation arranged and paid * Opportunities for further training and development
