A client of Jago Partners is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Physiotherapist to work full-time with a professional racing driver competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship.


This is a unique opportunity to become the lead physiotherapist/performance coach responsible for the performance and long-term physical management of an elite athlete. This role is based in Fulham, London, with opportunities for international travel throughout the racing season.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the athlete's physical performance during the season and strategise during the off-season.  
  • ⁠Deliver hands-on physiotherapy treatment and recovery sessions
  • ⁠Develop injury prevention and performance optimisation plans
  • ⁠Monitor physical condition, mobility, strength, and recovery progress
  • ⁠Act as the athlete’s first point of contact for physical preparation and injury management
  • ⁠Work collaboratively with coaches, trainers, and relevant medical professionals when required
  • ⁠Support the athlete during travel and race weekends when necessary


Requirements

  • Professional sports environment experience preferred. 
  • ⁠Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc Physiotherapy)
  • ⁠HCPC registered
  • ⁠CSP membership preferred
  • ⁠Strong understanding of sports rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy
  • ⁠Confident working independently and taking ownership of athlete care
  • ⁠High level of professionalism, discretion, and communication skills
  • ⁠Passion for elite sport and performance environments
  • ⁠Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a high-performance role
  • ⁠Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week)


Desirable Experience

⁠Experience working with professional athletes or sports teams

⁠Strength & conditioning knowledge

⁠Sports massage/manual therapy

⁠Motorsport or elite endurance sport interest

⁠Post-operative rehabilitation
