Maintenance Supervisor

Coventry, West Midlands * £40,000 per year + Benefits A leading facilities management and building services provider is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee engineering operations at a prestigious static site in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineering professional with a mechanical or electrical background to lead a small team delivering planned and reactive maintenance within a busy commercial environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting engineers, ensuring compliance, maintaining high service standards, and acting as the key point of contact on site while remaining technically involved when required. The Role As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the site, whilst providing leadership and technical support to the engineering team. Key responsibilities include: * Supervising a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers * Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works * Ensuring statutory compliance and health & safety standards are maintained * Supporting engineers with technical issues and fault finding * Liaising with clients and site stakeholders * Coordinating specialist subcontractors where required * Assisting with reporting, scheduling and workload planning * Monitoring service delivery and performance standards * Supporting with hands-on maintenance activities when necessary Working Hours & Package * Salary: £40,000 per annum * Monday to Friday * 40-hour working week * Static site based in Coventry * Company benefits package * Opportunity to join a well-established FM provider with long-term contract stability Requirements To be considered, candidates should have: * Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Engineer or Engineering Supervisor * Strong background in building services maintenance * Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications/background * Experience managing PPM schedules and reactive maintenance activities * Good understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements * Strong communication and client-facing skills * Ability to lead, motivate and support an engineering team Ideal Candidate This role would suit someone currently working as a: * Lead Engineer * Maintenance Supervisor * Engineering Team Leader * Senior Maintenance Engineer who is looking to join a stable, site-based contract and progress their career within a respected facilities management business.
