Corporate Solicitor (NQ-2) – Edinburgh

A well-established Scottish firm is looking to appoint a corporate Solicitor (NQ-2) to join its team in Edinburgh. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Solicitor due to qualify in 2026, or a Solicitor with some corporate experience, to join a supportive team handling a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.

The Role

You will support Senior Lawyers on a variety of transactions and advisory work, including:

• Mergers & acquisitions
• Corporate transactions
• Commercial contracts
• Company law advisory matters
• Due diligence and disclosure exercises
• Transaction completions and corporate administration
• Client communication and relationship management

The role will also involve legal research, drafting legal documentation and assisting with business development activity.

About You

Applicants should demonstrate:

• 
  
• An interest in corporate and commercial law
• Exposure to corporate transactions during traineeship or post-qualification experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail
• A proactive and collaborative approach
