Electrical Fitter / Wirer Up to £34k +  Benefits Leicestershire. Ref: 25372 Electrical Fitter - The Role: Carry out electrical wiring of control panels and special purpose automated machinery Take responsibility for wiring machine elements and electrical cabinets, including rectifications and engineering changes Support machine build, assembly and initial setup, including assisting with pneumatic routing and mechanical elements Assist in commissioning and development of machinery from power-on through to customer acceptance Test and check electrical systems, sensors and machine functions prior to full development Maintain accurate build documentation and ensure all work meets internal procedures and electrical standards Work closely with internal teams to resolve build and design issues Support installation, testing and servicing at customer sites in the UK and occasionally overseas Ensure high standards of build quality, cleanliness and presentation throughout the process Electrical Fitter - The Person: Experienced Electrical Fitter with strong background in machinery or automation wiring (ideally 10+ years) Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship with relevant electrical qualifications Confident in reading and interpreting engineering and electrical drawings Solid understanding of electrical principles, safety standards and compliance requirements Experience working with special purpose machinery or similar automated systems Knowledge of pneumatic systems and their integration within machinery Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and build quality Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Flexible and willing to travel or work off-site at short notice when required Professional and presentable when interacting with customers Located in Leicestershire, this role would be commutable from Hinckley, Loughborough, Leicester and other surrounding areas.
