Method Development Analytical Team Leader

Method Development Analytical Team Leader NW England Our NW based client is currently looking to recruit an Analytical Method Development Team Leader to perform complex method development and validation using HPLC / UPLC-MS, SFC, GC-MS  on a variety of compounds and molecules. This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys developing novel methods from first principles Additional duties for this role will include : Leading a team of Analytical Chemists, assisting with ongoing project work when required Instrument and method trouble-shooting , solving problems to enable analyses to be completed Understanding chemical structures to ultimately ensure the successful analysis of a range of large and small molecules Leading on a number of analytical projects, understanding requirements and defining scope of analytical projects and milestones Understanding / performing analyses with a range of other chromatography, spectroscopy and techniques (NMR) Completing detailed documentation and reports, ensuring analytical success for manufactured chemicals Understanding new approaches in analytical methodologies and techniques and implementing method improvements Training and mentoring others, leading by example on complex problem solving challenges Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc, MSc, Phd in Analytical Chemistry (or similar) together with proven demonstrable hands-on skills performing complex method development and validation using chromatography / spectroscopy systems   This is a permanent role offering an attractive salary depending on skills and experience Role : Permanent Location : NW England Salary : Attractive For further information or to apply please contact (url removed) / (phone number removed)
