Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) Location: Accrington Salary: £44,000 Holidays: 33 days a year Shifts: Monday - Friday Double Days (6-2 / 2/10) You will be required to work 1 in every 6 weekends with the following Monday and Tuesday off as rest days - Saturday 6:00am - 2:00pm and Sunday 7:00am - 3:00pm Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a food manufacturing company based in Accrington? Ideally Engineers will have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as food or FMCG and will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Daily Duties: Perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site Quickly diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime Collaborate with the engineering team to drive improvements that enhance machine performance and reliability Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards at all times Accurately document all maintenance work and ensure records are kept up to date Provide support for capital projects, new installations, and equipment upgrades as required Ideal Candidate: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - Ideally apprentice trained Experience with electrical & Mechanical maintenance - FMCG/food manufacturing Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Please send your updated CV to the advert now
