I'm currently supporting a client who is looking for an experienced Overhead Line Design Checker to assist with 275kV transmission line design work . This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level OHL professional looking for flexible, remote-based contract work.

Pay range and compensation package

£100-£150 per hour - Outside IR35

About the Role

This role involves assisting with 275kV transmission line design work and providing technical assurance on designs.

Responsibilities

Carry out independent design checks
Provide technical assurance on 275kV OHL designs, Civils, Structures

Qualifications

Strong 275kV / Transmission OHL experience
Proven design checking / approval capability
Experience working on UK transmission projects
Ability to work independently and review complex designs

Required Skills

Experience in 275kV OHL design
Technical assurance capabilities

Preferred Skills

Experience with UK transmission projects
