About the role

Oversee system design and take a leading role Cambridge, hybrid work; to £80,000 DoE Finance without the pressure? This US tech firm’s Cambridge R&D office makes use of dynamic, high-speed FPGA RTL logic to achieve automated trades in nanoseconds. They offer hybrid working and the classic, relaxed and productive office environment you will be used to in Cambridge tech. The role gives the chance to: * Take the lead and oversee all aspects of FPGA systems’ design * Pursue superior technical approaches to the problem * Collaborate with software engineers working in Rust and C++ * See your work put to productive use without a long lead time You would be joining a friendly, senior team of engineers in their north Cambridge offices, easy to cycle to and with plenty of parking. Work from home two days per week, or come to the office with flexible hours, placing an order for your favourite food and drink and snacks. Of course there is rather more to the package: remuneration is tailored depending on your experience. Interested? You will naturally have a strong relevant CV with significant commercial-grade experience, demonstrating your skills with Vivado / Quartus and SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL.
