An great opportunity has developed in a global FMCG business for an aspiring accountant to join an established finance department. This role will allow for further development and career progression for the right candidate into a qualified accountant position.

About the Role

The successful candidate who will report to the Wider Accounting Team and will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties...

• Support month end close including journals and reconciliations
• Analyse financial data and investigate variances
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare management reports and KPI analysis
• Manage intercompany recharges and GRNI balances
• Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls
• Support internal and external audits
• Contribute to continuous improvement within finance

Essential Criteria

• Third Level Finance/ Business Qualification (Desirable)
• Studying (Or planning to) ACCA or CIMA Qualification (Study Support will be provided)
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Good IT skills with previous experience of Excel, Word and Outlook (Experience with Excel Desirable)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exhibit excellent organisational skills and attention to detail along with a proven ability to meet deadlines
