About the Role - If you have PLC Programming or Automation experience and you're seeking a new role, we want to hear from you. Cognizant is recruiting a PLC Engineer, and the hybrid technology role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide for the development of all DCS, PLCs and SCADA systems to industry standards, GAMP5.
• Ensure the design, development, maintenance and troubleshooting of automated systems on site is completed promptly.
• Provide project support, including coding, design, testing and IOQ support.
• Support on-site PLCs including Siemens and Allan Bradley PLC.
• Initiate, Implement, and Qualify Proactive site changes and small projects for the site.
• Coordinate tasks to ensure timely delivery.
• Monthly reporting of tasks completed, and support provided.
• Be part on the on-call support team.

Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Automation Experience in a GMP environment.
• Automation PLC experience required in Siemens S7, Allen Bradley PLCs.
